Every great song starts somewhere.

Songless is a browser music guessing game. Start with just 0.1 seconds of a song, hear a little more if you need it, and try to name the track. Each run contains five songs, with up to 50,000 points available.

An independent recreation

This project recreates the single-player mechanics of Songless Unlimited on PlayDaily. It is not affiliated with PlayDaily, Deezer, or Apple.

The collection

This edition includes 455 tracks. Track metadata and official short previews come from Deezer and the iTunes Search API. Songs and album artwork belong to their respective rights holders. After each song, you can open its official music-service page. Preview audio is streamed through the Worker. Only the current and next track may be prepared in browser memory; no audio files are persisted by the application.

Difficulty combines the original catalogue ranking with editorial selection order; it is an estimate of familiarity, not measured recognition difficulty or a claim about streaming totals. Era filters use the catalogue or editorial release year; compilations may group recordings originally released in different years.

A shared daily mix

Daily challenges reset at 00:00 UTC. Each date has an immutable five-song schedule and fixed backups for unavailable previews. Future schedules stay on the server. Completing a daily challenge extends your local completion streak, independently of Unlimited play.

Your own high score

Unlimited means you can play whenever you like. Your current run, music preferences, audio setting, and up to 100 finished runs are saved in your browser. There are no accounts or global leaderboards in this edition.
